Staff Biographies
Julie Levin, MFT
Julie learned website optimization and marketing when she launched her private practice in 2004. Newly licensed,
she wasn't eligible for insurance panels, and had to find fee-for-service clients. Within 6 months, she was able to
quit her agency job, has never accepted insurance and has never looked back. Over the years, as internet marketing
has developed, Julie has stayed ahead of the curve, continuing to learn and to bring her insights to students and
clients. Julie also has a BA in Creative Writing from UCLA, and while she works at the great American novel, she
uses her writing skills to help therapists convey their unique way of working to prospective clients by ghost
writing and editing website content. Currently, Julie is working "behind the scenes" to manage therapy-marketing.com
while Naomi Azriel provides one-to-one consultation and group classes.
Naomi Azriel, MFT
Naomi started out like many of us, as a "technophobe" and had strong reservations about "advertising" online. However, being newly licensed in a fee-for-service practice, she found out quickly that she had to have a website. She studied with Julie Levin and then took what she learned into the world of the Mac and iWeb. After immersing herself in the world of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for iWeb-created websites, she discovered how to attract clients to her site, while maintaining the ease of use that comes with iWeb. Today, Naomi has dozens of new visitors to her website weekly. She has developed a class on Website Optimization for iWeb/Mac users, and she also teaches the general Website Optimization and AdWords classes for Therapy-Marketing.com. In addition, Naomi is available for one-on-one consultation and coaching. Naomi can be reached directly at 510-658-3783.
