AdWords for Therapists
Date: TBD (2 CE Hours)
AdWords, Google's "Pay-Per-Click" advertising service, is one of the least expensive ways to advertise your services and drive traffic to your website. The more traffic that comes to your site, the higher up it also appears in the free search listings - so you get even more mileage from your advertising dollars.
However, AdWords can also be confusing, daunting even, until you understand how it works. This class will guide you through the maze of AdWords. You'll understand how Pay-Per-Click ads work, how to create effective ads, and how to bid effectively, so you don't overspend.
Some of the less-known features of AdWords will be explained, so you can avoid common therapist pitfalls leading to over spending, and take advantage of specific features that make AdWords particularly effective for advertising psychotherapy.
Objectives:
- Understand how to write effective ads within the ultra-short AdWords format
- Understand how to choose keywords that will bring traffic to your site
- Understand ways to structure your website to make the most of AdWords
- Understand the bidding and payment process including how to budget effectively
- Choose more effective keywords that cost less by focusing on specializations
- Understand how to create a conversion form to test the effectiveness of campaigns
- Review bidding process so you minimize costs and maximize value
Who Should Take This Class:
This workshop is tailored specifically to those needs of psychotherapists in private practice, who already have an existing website but are not getting enough client traffic to their website. It is especially helpful to those who have tried to make use of, but got confused or despaired of, Google’s AdWords.
